Originally from Portland Oregon, and known for her haunting voice and melancholic piano ballads; Nicole now lives in Wellington, where she has gained recognition as an up and coming artist to watch out for.

Her debut album, In the Shallows, was released in February 2015 with the support of Creative New Zealand, and garnered support from such New Zealand performers as David Long (The Mutton Birds), Andrew Bain (Fur Patrol) and Thomas Voyce (Rhombus).

In the Shallows has been described as “Simple, stripped back, yet incredibly solid” by NZ Musician Magazine; and Listener Magazine said “for those who like their femininity fierce and fearless the pace doesn’t stop until Andrews calls Time at the end.” The album was featured on RadioActive as the Preview Album of the Week, and continues to be playlisted on select radio stations across New Zealand.
